NYC, October 10, AES 2003 — Sanken today introduced
at AES the new Sanken HAD-48 mic pre-amp. Poor signal-to-noise
ratio can be a problem with low-output devices, such as dynamic
mics connected to long cables. The new Sanken HAD-48 microphone
preamplifier provides switched gains of +20dB or +40dB to
boost signal levels. The HAD-48 features an XLR-style barrel
(XLR-3M - XLR-3F) just 4.14 inches long. No batteries - the
HAD-48 runs off 48V phantom power and draws less than 4.5mA.
